Top foreign scholars to headline 14th SES Conference

Top foreign scholars will headline the 14th Social Ethics Society Conference and First CJC-SES Joint International Conference this coming February 1-2, 2024 at the scenic Haven's Dew Resort in Davao del Sur. This was revealed by Dr. Rogelio Bayod, chair of the forthcoming Conference. The Keynote Speaker is Dr. John Weckert, professor emeritus at Charles Sturt University in Australia. The plenary speakers include Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University in Israel, Dr. Layne Hartsell of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, and Dr. Juichiro Tanabe of Waseda University in Tokyo. Local scholars will also talk in the plenary, including Dr. Anton Heinrich Rennesland of the University of Santo Tomas, Dr. Ian Clark Parcon and Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc of Ateneo de Davao University. The event is expected to draw philosophy and ethics teachers from different regions. The theme of the event is Peace and Conflict studies, Emerging Technologies and Ecological Sustainability. The deadline for
