All set for the 9th SES Conference

I am grateful to Cor Jesu College for hosting the 9th SES Conference. Despite the 6.4 quake, CJC has remained firm in its commitment to host this gathering of philosophy professors, researchers and graduate students in the country. I would like to thank Dr. Roger Bayod and Dr. Randy Tudy for the excellent preparations. It is our prayer for CJC to rise and overcome its present predicament after the quake. Institutions are not defined by buildings but by the strength of the will and character of its people. My suggestion to bring SES Conference to CJC in Digos City is meant to emphasize the talent and competence of our scholars and to prove the richness and value of our own philosophical work. Regional conferences such as the SES strive to develop the potential of young researchers. We hope to become the breeding ground for future leaders in the field. While a lot about philosophy actually involves personal reflection, oral paper presentations will improve the argumentation skill o
