BISU, SES to hold Forum on Education

Bohol Island State University (BISU), College of Advanced Studies, in cooperation with the Social Ethics Society, will hold a Forum on the Problems, Challenges, and Prospects of Higher Education in the Post-Pandemic World this coming June 17, 2023, from 9 to 5pm. The event, which is considered as an SES off-site undertaking, will be held in Tagbilaran City.

The forum intends to heighten awareness on the problems and challenges in education after the pandemic. The invited speakers include Dr. Ruby Suazo of the University of San Carlos, Dr. Rogelio Bayod of Cor Jesu College in Digos, Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc of Ateneo de Davao University, and Dr. Noel Parinas of UP Los Banos. Mr. Francis Ibanez is coordinating the activity.

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc just published his 90th Philosophy Paper

Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc of the Philosophy Department of Ateneo de Davao University has published his 90th philosophy paper. He co-authored an article entitled "An Ethics of Justice for the Elderly: Ageism and the Covid-19 Pandemic" with Dr. Anesito Cutillas of Cebu Technological University. The study was published in Community Health Equity Research and Policy, a Sage journal indexed by Clarivate Analytics and Scopus.  He has published papers under Springer, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Philosophy Documentation Center, and Sage.
