2nd SES Webinar and World Philosophy Day Lectures

The 2nd leg of the Social Ethics Society Webinar Series, in cooperation with the Junior Philosophers' Guild of Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology and Waseda University in Tokyo, will be held in conjunction with the celebration of the World Philosophy Day. The webinar is scheduled on November 18, 2023 at 3pm

The second set of speakers are Dr. Juichiro Tanabe of Waseda University, Mr. Ruben Balotol of STI College in Ormoc, and Dr. Ian Clark Parcon of Ateneo de Davao University. The theme of the event is democracy across the global spectrum. Prof. Migs Mansueto will once again host the event.

This webinar series is meant to reach out to both students and teachers in the field of philosophy and intends to highlight the work of Dr. Tanabe on Peace and Conflict Studies together with the research interests of local scholars who are members of the Social Ethics Society.

  We, members of the Board of Directors of the Social Ethics Society, express our strong opposition to the proposal to remove ethics in college.
