The 8th Social Ethics Society Conference will be held this coming October 25-27, 2018 at Punta Resort, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Notre Dame of Marbel University will be the host of this year's regional gathering of philosophy teachers, scholars, and researchers. The theme for the conference is Indigenous Perspectives and Contemporary Challenges. Bro. Karl Gaspar will be the Keynote Speaker for his year's event. Mr. Aldrin Quintero is the conference chair while Mr. Wrendolf Juntilla will be in charge of the secretariat. Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc will head the scientific committee.
Envisioned to be the bastion of moral integrity both in the academe and the global community, the Social Ethics Society is the first professional organization of Philosophy teachers, researchers, and graduate students based in the Southern Region of the Philippines. Deeply rooted in the passion for truth and social action, the SES seeks to develop the scholarly output of its members and advance useful knowledge for the betterment of Philippine society and beyond.
