CRB Maboloc publishes a Chapter on Nanotechnology and AI in Springer Book Integrated Science: Science without Borders

  Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc has published a chapter on Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence in Integrated Science: Science without Borders, Edited by Nima Rezaei, and published by Springer. The chapter discusses the origin of nanotechnology and the social issues related to its development. The author also tackled AI and its implications to society.  The book Integrated Science consists of 22 chapters written by topnotch international authors covering the most relevant and novel research in all areas of formal sciences, physical and chemical sciences, biological sciences and the social sciences. The editor, Dr. Nima Rezaei, is a research scientist in the field of immunology who has published more than 800 papers. Fr. Dexter Veloso to deliver Closing Message in final event of the 2021 SES Webinar Series

  Fr. Dexter Veloso, president of the Social Ethics Society, will formally give the Closing Message for the 2021 SES Webinar Series this July 6, 2021. The fourth leg is the final event for the year. According to Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, program chairman, the endeavor has brought together international and local scholars to discuss important topics in social philosophy and political ethics. The global scholars who took part as speakers include Dr. Juichiro Tanabe of Kumamoto University, Dr. John Weckert of Charles Sturt University, Dr. Layne Hartsell of Chulalongkorn University and Ms. Asuna Yoshizawa of Kyoto University. Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University will headline the last virtual event. Dr. Cesar Tecson to speak about Technology and Cultural Preservation in the 2021 SES Webinar Series

Dr. Cesar Tecson will give a lecture in the final leg of the 2021 Social Ethics Society Webinar Series this July 6, 2021. Dr. Tecson, who obtained his doctorate in computer science at Ateneo de Manila University, will talk about "Technology and Culture: How Technology can Preserve the Past." The theme of the virtual event, to be hosted by Dr. Roger Bayod, is Philosophical Perspectives in the Margins. Dr. Tecson has worked on a project concerning the preservation of the culture of the B'laan Tribe. Other speakers include Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University, Dr. Govida Eviota of MSU-Marawi, and Mr. Gerry Arambala of LSU-Ozamiz. To register, send an email to roger.bayod@gmail.com. Dr. Godiva Eviota-Rivera is Speaker in the 2021 SES Lecture Series

  Dr. Godiva Eviota-Rivera of Mindanao State University in Marawi will give a lecture in the 2021 Social Ethics Society Lecture Series this July 6, 2021. She will talk about Habermas and Peace Communication. This topic is an emerging perspective in modern pedagogy that seeks to develop democratic methods of teaching while being critical at the same time. The virtual event also features Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University, Prof. Gerry Arambala of LSU Ozamiz and Dr. Cesar Tecson of Cor Jesu College. LSU - Ozamiz Philosophy Chair Gerry Arambala to talk about Radical Politics in the 2021 SES Lecture Series

Prof. Gerry Flores Arambala, La Salle University Ozamiz chair, will talk about radical politics in the 4th and final leg of the 2021 Social Ethics Society Webinar Series this July 6, 2021. The speaker has published several papers on radical politics, following the lead of his friend, Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc. The upcoming scholar from the South is currently writing about global poverty and the Capability Approach. He has delivered papers in conferences here and abroad. The theme of the final SES Webinar/Lecture is "Philosophical Perspectives in the Margins" and will feature Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University, Dr. Godiva Eviota of MSU - Marawi and Dr. Cesar Tecson of Cor Jesu.
