SES inducts more members

The Social Ethics Society has inducted more members into the organization. The new members include Dr. Narcisa Ramos Canilao of UP Baguio, Atty. Carlos Canilao, a human rights lawyer, Fr. Costan Fatlolon, who took his doctorate at Ateneo de Manila University, Prof. Cathy Mae Toquero, a topnotch higher education scholar, and Ms. Diane Ulanday of MSU General Santos, Mr. Christian Hipolao of LSU Ozamiz, Allyson Cruyff Ladero of Silliman, Prof. Leah Tabile of Centro Escolar University, and Danilo Agustin of Ateneo de Davao University.  Others inducted into the SES include Prof. Mark Lataza and Prof. Ben Villareal of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig, Dr. Rodel Ponferrada and Prof. Sherwin EspaƱo of EVSU, Prof. Ma. 13th SES Conference held

The 13th Social Ethics Society Conference was successfully held last October 27-28, 2022 at Holiday Ocean View Resort in Samal Island. Thirty papers were delivered in the event, highlighted of course by the keynote address of Dr. Goran Collste from Sweden and the plenary talks of Dr. Rec Eguia on Futures Thinking, Fr. John Guo Wang on Environmental Sustainability, and Prof. Cathy Mae Toquero, who talked about Education in the 21st Century. The theme was "Weaving Multidisciplinary Perspectives." The topnotch academics who attended the event include Dr. Narcisa Ramos Canilao of UP Baguio, Dr. Ranilo Hermida of AdMU, Dr. Al Quillope of NDMU, and Prof. Bernardo Caslib Jr. of UP Manila. Vice Mayor Leonigildo Calibara and Councilor Bartolome Lataza Jr., together with Prof. Mark Lataza, shared the peace journey of Alamada, North Cotabato. Peace advocates Rica Feliciano and Alecka Fajardo of HWPL, as well as Atty. Carlos Canilao, a human rights lawyer, also attended the in-person act
