Faisha Mae Tangog to present paper in the 21st Asian Bioethics Conference

Ms. Faisha Mae Tangog, a student of Dr. Rogelio Bayod at Cor Jesu College, will be a co-presentor with her mentor Dr. Bayod, in the 21st Asian Bioethics Conference this coming August 29 to September 1, 2021. They will present the paper "Defending Moral Obligation: Duterte's Dauntless War on Drugs." The ABC will be participated in by bioethicists, medical researchers, and public health experts from the US, Japan, Germany, India, New Zealand, and Malaysia, among others. This year's conference will deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.

SES members to present papers in the 21st Asian Bioethics Conference

Four members of the Social Ethics Society will take part in the 21st ABC Conference this month. Dr. Rogelio Bayod and his student Faisha Mae Tangog, of Cor Jesu College, Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc of Ateneo de Davao University, Mr. Aldrin Quintero of the Notre Dame of Marbel University, and Mr. Joefer Maninang of the University of Mindanao, will present papers in the 21st Asian Bioethics Conference slated on August 29 to September 1, 2021. Dr. Bayod and Ms. Tangog will present "Defending Moral Obligation: Duterte's Dauntless War on Drugs," Dr. Maboloc will deliver his paper, "Human Decency in the Time of Covid-19," Mr. Quintero will talk about "Covid-19 PPE Waste Management: A Looming Ecological Crisis in the Philippines?", and Mr. Maninang will discuss "Will a Vaccine Passport Work in the Philippines?" The ABC, to be held online, will be participated in by bioethicists, public health experts, and medical researchers from the US, Japan, Ger
