LSU - Ozamiz Philosophy Chair Gerry Arambala to talk about Radical Politics in the 2021 SES Lecture Series
Prof. Gerry Flores Arambala, La Salle University Ozamiz chair, will talk about radical politics in the 4th and final leg of the 2021 Social Ethics Society Webinar Series this July 6, 2021. The speaker has published several papers on radical politics, following the lead of his friend, Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc. The upcoming scholar from the South is currently writing about global poverty and the Capability Approach. He has delivered papers in conferences here and abroad.
The theme of the final SES Webinar/Lecture is "Philosophical Perspectives in the Margins" and will feature Dr. Daniel Mishori of Tel Aviv University, Dr. Godiva Eviota of MSU - Marawi and Dr. Cesar Tecson of Cor Jesu. Prof. Menelito Mansueto will give the Opening Message. The virtual event will be hosted by Dr. Roger Bayod. Fr. Dexter Veloso, SES president, will deliver his closing remarks.
