The Social Ethics Society will hold a Public Forum on the Future of Philippine Democracy: The 2022 National Elections later this month. The speakers will be Fr. Dexter Veloso (XACOSE), A/Prof. Migs Mansueto (MSU-IIT), Dr. Randy Tudy (CHED), Dr. Rogelio Bayod (Cor Jesu), and Prof. Ian Clark Parcon (Ateneo). "The activity is in line with the good governance advocacy role of the organization," says Dr, Christopher Ryan Maboloc, SES Board Chairman. The speakers will give varying perspectives and insights on the forthcoming elections, including their opinions on the potential candidates, and the issues that the electorate need to understand.
Envisioned to be the bastion of moral integrity both in the academe and the global community, the Social Ethics Society is the first professional organization of Philosophy teachers, researchers, and graduate students based in the Southern Region of the Philippines. Deeply rooted in the passion for truth and social action, the SES seeks to develop the scholarly output of its members and advance useful knowledge for the betterment of Philippine society and beyond.
