CALL FOR PAPERS: 3rd Social Ethics Society Conference at NDMU

The 3rd Social Ethics Society Conference will be held this coming October 4-5, 2013 at the Notre Dame of Marbel University. The conference revolves on the theme "Peace and Development: Philosophical Reflections". Expected participants are philosophy teachers, students, researchers and members of NGOs involved in peace and development initiatives.

The paper/essay must be around 4,000 to 6,000 words. A 300 word abstract may be submitted on or before May 31, 2013. The deadline for the full-text will be on August 31, 2013. You may submit your paper to the SES President at ryanmaboloc75@yahoo.com or to Mr. Al Quillope of NDMU at earthworm_afq@yahoo.com. The papers for the conference will be selected by the BOD of the Social Ethics Society.

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc just published his 90th Philosophy Paper

Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc of the Philosophy Department of Ateneo de Davao University has published his 90th philosophy paper. He co-authored an article entitled "An Ethics of Justice for the Elderly: Ageism and the Covid-19 Pandemic" with Dr. Anesito Cutillas of Cebu Technological University. The study was published in Community Health Equity Research and Policy, a Sage journal indexed by Clarivate Analytics and Scopus.  He has published papers under Springer, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Philosophy Documentation Center, and Sage.
