Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc is one of the speakers in the International Summit on Human Gene Editing and Genetic Engineering and AUSN-Eubios Intensive Bioethics Training to be held at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand this coming January 30 to February 2, 2019. The event will be attended by experts, bioethicists, and academicians who will discuss ethical issues pertaining to genetic medicine and its implication to social policy.
Dr. Maboloc will be presenting his study on disability rights and particular developments in autism research. In his paper, distributive justice issues and the gaps in quality and advanced health care between the First and the Third World will be analyzed. Speakers during the summit include Dr. Darryl Macer of the Eubios Ethics Institute, Dr. Soraj Hongladarom of Chulalongkorn University, and Dr. John Weckert of Charles Stuart University.
