The Social Ethics Society has concluded its 12th Annual Conference which was held virtually, October 29-30, 2021. Dr. Darryl Macer, the Keynote Speaker, provided the context with which human society can proceed by means of ethics and human rights in the post-pandemic world. Mr. Anton Heinrich Rennesland, the Plenary Speaker for the Philosophy section, shared his reflections on how human society must be designed using a critical vantage point against the forces of globalization. Dr. Julio Teehankee, the Plenary Speaker for the Politics section, explained the nature of Philippine politics, and the theoretical underpinnings on the power of the Presidential system of government and how it impacts the lives of the people.
