Dr. Godiva Eviota-Rivera to present paper on Online Education in the 13th International Public Health Conference
Dr. Godiva Eviota-Rivera, professor at Mindanao State University (MSU), will present a paper entitled "Higher Education in the Philippines during the Covid-19 Pandemic: Risks, Opportunities, and Policy Implications," in the 13th International Public Health Conference hosted by the American University of Sovereign Nations, January 7, 2021. The paper, co-written by Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, associate professor at Ateneo de Davao University and visiting professor at AUSN, tackles the issue of mental health and other problems concerning the digital transformation of learning. The research also discusses the fundamental problems of Philippine education. The authors will provide policy recommendations. The conference will be joined by experts from other countries, including the US, France, New Zealand, and Japan, among others.
