The Social Ethics Society, in coordination with Cor Jesu College, will hold the 4th International Conference on Philippine Politics and Culture on April 22-23, 2022 with the theme "Radical Politics and the Future of Philippine Democracy." Dr. Jeffry Ocay, the country's most prominent critical theorist from the South, will give the Keynote Lecture during the event. Other distinguished speakers in the virtual conference include Dr. Juichiro Tanabe (Waseda University), Dr. Rey Montesclaros (MSU-IIT), Prof. Ian Clark Parcon (AdDU), Ms. Asuna Yoshizawa (Kyoto University) and PD Bruce Colao (DILG).
Papers related to Philippine Politics and Governance, Education and Poverty, Ethics and Difference Politics, and Critical Theory, are welcome. All papers presented during the conference will be considered for the Special Issue of the SES Journal of Applied Philosophy after peer review. Deadline for the submission of abstract is March 31, 2022.
