CRB Maboloc to speak in International Conference on Educational Sciences

 

Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc has been invited to speak in the Plenary of the International Conference on Research in the Educational Sciences, to be held on May 29-31, 2022. The virtual event is hosted by the Mindanao State University in General Santos City and is convened by Ms. Cathy Mae Toquero, an outstanding scholar in the field of educational research. 

Dr. Maboloc will deliver a paper on the concept of critical pedagogy. He has published several articles on the topic, including "Critical Pedagogy in the New Normal," (Columbia) "Deep Thinking or Resistance: On Finding a Middle Ground between Freire's Critical Pedagogy and Dewey's Pragmatism," (Springer) and "A Strategy for School Reopening in the Philippines," (Oxford). 

Other international experts will speak as well in the conference. The second Call for Papers has been released. The submission of the full paper will be on April 15, 2022.
