Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, the Chair of the Social Ethics Society and a Philosophy Professor at Ateneo de Davao University, has been appointed as a mentor to the fellows in the 2025 ASAP Yale University Global Justice Program.
Academics Stand Against Poverty or ASAP is a fellowship program meant to promote scholarship and research on the fight against global poverty. It was founded by Thomas Pogge, the director of Yale University's Global Justice Program.
For this year, 23 fellows were chosen from various countries to conduct research projects and join lectures by renowned global scholars. Dr. Maboloc was part of the pioneering fellows chosen in 2024. He was mentored by Thomas Pogge.
