The Social Ethics Society, in cooperation with North Valley College and Waseda University, Tokyo, presents "Understanding Philippine Democracy - Perspectives from the South," an online Public Forum, to be held on May 9, 2025 via Zoom.
The speakers include Dr. Juichiro Tanabe (Waseda University), Dr. Godiva Eviota-Rivera (MSU Marawi), Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc (Ateneo), Dr. Rogelio Bayod (North Valley College), Atty. Jamil Matalam (Ateneo and USEP), Dr. Arnel Morte (Central Mindanao University), Mr. Migs Mansueto (MSU-IIT), & Mr. Ruben Balotol (Barauen).
The event is meant to promote a broader and inclusive understanding of Philippine politics, culture and society. Links will be sent to all SES members. Philosophy teachers, students, researchers, and the general public are free to join.
