SES members actively participate in IPHA Conference hosted by AUSN


Several members of the Social Ethics Society have actively participated in the International Public Health and Bioethics Conference (virtual) hosted by the Eubios Ethics Institute and the American University of Sovereign Nations. These include Fr. Urbano Pardillo Jr., Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, Fr. Dexter Veloso, Dr. Al Quillope, Dr. Sherlito Sable, Mr. Aldrin Quintero, Dr. Rogelio Bayod, Dr. Randy Teody, and Mr. Gerry Arambala. Dr. Moises Torrentira of the University of Southeastern Philippines will be presenting his paper in the 11th IPHA. "The IPHA gives SES members international exposure and the opportunity to engage with foreign scholars in an open atmosphere of real dialogue," says Dr. Maboloc, SES co-founder, who is a visiting professor at the American University of Sovereign Nations.

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Christopher Ryan Maboloc: An Intellectual Biography

By Menelito Mansueto (MSU-IIT)  Christopher Ryan Maboloc is a Davao-based Filipino scholar known for his work in Social and Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Philippine Democracy, and the Philosophy of Technology. He is an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University and a Visiting Professor at Silliman University. His body of work often engages with topics of social justice, structural inequality, and political ethics, particularly in the context of the Philippines.
