Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc holds successful book signing

 

Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc, author of The Question of Justice in Contemporary Liberal Theory, successfully held a Book Signing event at Balai Torrentira, Matina Town Square in Davao City on December 7, 2024. The event was sponsored by Dr. Moises Torrentira Jr., Fr. Dexter Veloso, and CEO Raymond Taopa. Academics, lawyers and former students of the author attended the event. The book is the second monograph of the author published by Elzystyle Publishing and distributed worldwide by Amazon.

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Prof. Pogge is the author of World Poverty and Human Rights. Christopher Ryan Maboloc: An Intellectual Biography

By Menelito Mansueto (MSU-IIT)  Christopher Ryan Maboloc is a Davao-based Filipino scholar known for his work in Social and Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Philippine Democracy, and the Philosophy of Technology. He is an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University and a Visiting Professor at Silliman University. His body of work often engages with topics of social justice, structural inequality, and political ethics, particularly in the context of the Philippines.
