SES to hold Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of the Social Ethics Society will hold a meeting on December 15, 2024 in Davao City. The agenda include the forthcoming 15th SES Conference, the latest issue and indexing of the SES Journal, and evaluation and planning. Fr. Dexter Veloso, SES President, will preside the meeting. 

The following are the SES Officials: Fr. Dexter Veloso (President), Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc (BOD Chair), Dr. Rogelio Bayod (VP), Dr. Moises Torrentira Jr. (Secretary), Fr. Urbano Pardillo Jr (Treasurer), Dr. Randy Tudy (Auditor), Dr. Ian Clark Parcon (PIO and Chief Editor, SES Journal), and Mr. Menelito Mansueto (BOD member).

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Prof. Pogge is the author of World Poverty and Human Rights. Christopher Ryan Maboloc: An Intellectual Biography

By Menelito Mansueto (MSU-IIT)  Christopher Ryan Maboloc is a Davao-based Filipino scholar known for his work in Social and Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Philippine Democracy, and the Philosophy of Technology. He is an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University and a Visiting Professor at Silliman University. His body of work often engages with topics of social justice, structural inequality, and political ethics, particularly in the context of the Philippines.
