Politics and Culture Special Issue Volume 2 to be released in February 2025

The SES Journal of Applied Philosophy will release the Politics and Culture Special Issue Volume 2 in February 2025. Dr. Rogelio Bayod of North Valley College and Mr. Menelito Mansueto of MSU-IIT are the editors of the latest Special Issue. 

The volume includes papers by Dr. Juichiro Tanabe (Waseda), Dr. Layne Hartsell (Chulalongkorn), and Dr. Daniel Mishori (Tel Aviv). Majority of the papers are from the proceedings of the 6th Politics and Culture Conference in 2024.

Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University will be the mentor of Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc in the ASAP Global Justice Program Fellowship at Yale University. Christopher Ryan Maboloc: An Intellectual Biography

By Menelito Mansueto (MSU-IIT)  Christopher Ryan Maboloc is a Davao-based Filipino scholar known for his work in Social and Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Philippine Democracy, and the Philosophy of Technology. He is an Associate Professor at Ateneo de Davao University and a Visiting Professor at Silliman University. His body of work often engages with topics of social justice, structural inequality, and political ethics, particularly in the context of the Philippines.
