Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc discussed Luciano Floridi's ethics of information during the World Philosophy Day held at North Valley College. Dr. Maboloc explained the meaning and purpose of information, the idea of digital agents and moral agents, the implications of the production, targeting and consumption of information, and its ethical implications to democracy. The event was organized by Dr. Rogelio Bayod. Dr. Ian Clark Parcon also delivered a talk on the nature and difference between deliberative and agonistic politics to more than a thousand students.
