Oliver Perater (full name Oliver F. Perater) is a Filipino academic and philosopher from Mindanao, Philippines.

He serves as an Assistant Professor IV in the Department of Philosophy and Humanities at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), located in Iligan City. He holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy and is affiliated with the College of Arts and Social Sciences. He previously taught at the University of Mindanao in Davao City.

Context and Culture: Situating Mindanao's Position in the General Education Curriculum
