Dr. Christopher Ryan Maboloc completed his ASAP Yale Global Justice Program Fellowship. He was supervised by Dr. Thomas Pogge The research of Dr. Maboloc was on the roots of historical injustice in Muslim Mindanao and the causal factors of poverty in the region. The fellows received their Certificate of Completion during an online ceremony. Professor Thomas Pogge of Yale University encouraged the fellows to apply what they learned from the program to help solve global poverty. There are 14 ASAP (Academics Stand Against Poverty) fellows in the first cohort, which was launched in early January this year. The scholars, based in countries such as India, the UK, the United States, Germany, Brazil and the Philippines, come from diverse backgrounds and expertise. They developed research projects and wrote papers under the supervision of renowned philosophers from top universities, including Yale and Cambridge University.
